Medical pathology and academic education
She studied medicine at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine from 1989 to 1996 and worked as a pathology research assistant at Erciyes University between 2000 and 2004.
She held an associate professorship from 2014 to 2021 and became a professor in 2021. She heads Medical Pathology at the University of Health Sciences, Kayseri Faculty of Medicine and leads education and administration in the hospital's pathology clinic.
She has been a member of the Turkish Society of Pathology since 2004. Her publications and thesis supervision include the histopathological assessment of tumours, immunohistochemical markers and diagnostic pathology.
